Help Error: 8206 Severity: 21

Dear All,

When we load the databaes backup from tape. The user database got the error

00:00000:00001:2005/08/27 16:55:37.06 server Error: 8206, Severity: 21, State:
3
00:00000:00001:2005/08/27 16:55:37.06 server Object 9 was not found in
Sysindexes.
00:00000:00001:2005/08/27 16:55:37.06 server Unable to proceed with the
recovery of dbid <6> because of previous errors. Continuing with the next
database.

When we try to use by-pass mode, then restart server. The user database always
got the Error: 8206, Severity: 21, State: 3 Object 9 was not found in
Sysindexes.

We didn't have any method to log into the user database.

Is there anyone got this before? Is there any method to log into the user
database?

Hi Salu,

You should contact Sybase TechSupport regarding this besides going to a
backup. The reason is that if it can be determined how the system table
was 'deleted' from sysindexes, it might be avoided in the future.
