Guys,
ASE Version 12.5.3esd#5

We switched from compress:: to with compression=1.
This is to disk files with or without stripes & passwords.

We did this change on at least 6 solaris boxes containing a total of 15+ ASE
instances.

One database on one ASE instance on one host is reportings:
A00: SYBMULTBUF ERROR: Compressed length greater than origin

It is repeatable and does not occur at the exact same spot during the dump.

Any ideas?

What happens if you try a higher compression level? Like 2 or 3?
