Hello,
My ASE is 15.0.2 - WinXP pro sp2. I am trying to load backup from ASE
11.9.2 - WinNT.
Backup is from 2 disks alocated database.
It is not possible repeat backup action.
I am trying to load into 1 disk alocated db or 2 disks alocated db with the
same result as below.

Have you run a dbcc checkdb on the source database before doing the
database dump?

I do not know it - I have received backup file only. Unfortunately I can not
ask about it somebody who produced backup.

This can be related to CR358880. What is the value of parameters -m
and -P in RUN SERVER file. ? Try to reduce these values and see if it
helps..

A really basic question - but did they give you the defined size of the
database or are you guessing from the dump size??? Reason I ask is that
the dump info says 435200 pages and you are blowing up on logical page
491519 - So there likely was a bunch of empty allocation units hence the
number of dumped pages was smaller than the actual number of pages in
the database. If you guessed the size based on the number of pages in
the dump info - that could be the problem.
