I need to unload a sybase ase 12.5 database into a named pipev rather than a
file. I heard this was not possible to use named pipes. Anyone have an
alternative?

Thanks,

-Jim

What does that have to do with linebackers who became DBAs?

See http://libpipe.com/ -- sending your dumps to stdin of any command-line
is as easy as:

dump database foo to 'pipe::the command'
go
