Hi

I'm not sure if it is actually related to the problem, but I see that
you are using ASE 12.0 GA version without any EBFs (patches) installed
at all. There were tens of EBFs released for ASE 12.0 and I think that
installation of the last EBF (ASE 12.0.0.8 ESD#5 ?) is a good idea. In
my experience, many problems with an apparently weird behavior of ASE
were solved just by EBF installation. Test it on your test environment
first, though.

Hope it helps

Hi

Yes, it is available to download from Sybase website (Support & Services
-> EBFs/Maintenance). The EBF number is 13229.

You may need to have a support contract to download some EBFs. I'm not
sure for this particular EBF though, so you can just try to download it.
