Hi,
Good days

I'm using Sybase ASE 15.0.2. / ASE 15.0.3

How can we load single table from database dump file.
In documentaion I've read that
A new ASE 12.5 feature allows database dump files to be "mined" for a
single table.
Thus an entire database loaded is not required when only a single
table restore is needed.

The feature is called 'archive database'. It allows you to access a DB dump
file directly, i.e. without really loading it first (you must still run
'load database', but it will be very fast irrespective of the size of the
dump).
See http://www.sybase.com/files/Product_Overviews/ASE1502_newfeatures.pdf
for details.
