I know that sybase dumps were just upward compatible in the past. Has
this been changed in ASE 15 ? I mean can I load a dump from ASE 15 to a
ASE 12.5.3 ?

You cannot load a dump from ASE version Y into ASE version X if Y > X,
assuming Y and X are major version numbers. It has always been this way...
