Like many of you I've dragged my feet with the new-ish compression
syntax. As the "with compression = X" syntax is required (if you're
going to compress the dump) for Archive Databases, I wrote up a little
thing on it:

The new syntax causes a slightly larger file (~10k).

Not me. I suggested the new syntax to Sethu some years ago
and was happy when they finally added it. I never liked the
original syntax and the fact that you couldn't do a load
with listonly or headeronly on the older compression
format.

I don't think its that much larger. The uncompressed header
files are quite small.
